Radical Uncertainty is the condition in which the ability to predict the outcomes of a project,is swept away by the speed of cultural, technological, and social changes. Uncertainty in this case is no longer a temporary anomaly, but a permanent, radical reality. If the future cannot be planned, then it must be invented. Starting with the use of their own technology,
SOWDEN invited a group of designers to imagine a lamp.
No brief. No rules. No conceptual constraints. Just relying on intuition.
The results are the subject of this exhibition.
